One of the best ways to connect is through involvement. For most of us, the desire to make a contribution is an important value. We want to know that we are trusted. We want to know that when we find a truly worthy cause, we can make a tangible difference. We want to know that we are part of something larger than ourselves.
Regardless of your personal interests, there is a place for you at Oshawa Community Church. There are just so many ways you can contribute. We are always trying new things, and we are committed to helping you use the gifts God has given you to love God, love people, make disciples, and make a difference.
Here are some of the areas OCC'ers love to be involved in:
- Worship Team
- Audio/Video Team
- Ushers/Greeters Team
- Small Group Leadership for Children, Youth or Adults
- Youth Ministry
- City Kids' Teacher/Helper
- Website Administration
- Compassion Ministry (visiting/praying for the sick, etc.)
- Office & Administration Volunteer Help - on call
- City Tots Nursery/Toddler Care
- Serve at Encounter Retreats
- Many other areas
