Welcome to City Kids children's ministry at OCC. We offer exciting kids ministry for your children aged 3 years old to Grade 6, and City Tots, for 0-2 yr olds, every Sunday during the morning services and Wednesday evenings.

Registration News!!

All children aged 3-Grade 6 need to be signed in and have a registration tag before coming to City Kids. Simply type in the last 4 digits of your phone number, or if it's your first time with us, type in your child's name and touch the "check-in" button. A printed name tag will appear for your child to wear, as well as two parent pick-up tags. Please ensure that you have one of these tags with you when you come to pick-up your child. It's that easy!

If it is your first time with us, please fill out a registration form for your child so that your child's allergy information can be printed right onto the name tag. We care about our kids, so we do ask that a parent comes to pick-up your child, so that we know he or she is safe, and in the care of an adult when leaving City Kids.

City Bucks

City bucks are what the children can earn each week to buy prizes from the City Kids toy store. They can earn City Bucks for remembering the previous week's Bible verse, bringing a Bible to City Kids, or bringing a friend who has never been. City Bucks can also be earned during the week at home. If you and your child do not have a City Bucks information pack, then make sure you get one the next time you are there. The City Kids toy store will be open the last Sunday of each month, so don't forget to bring those City Bucks!! (unless you're saving for something big...)
 

Sundays

Each Sunday morning when you arrive for one of our services, you can make your way to one of our registration kiosks and use the touch screen computer to register your child. The City Kids doors will open 15 minutes before each service, ready for the kids to come in and start the fun!!  Each Sunday will begin with a time to visit one of our gaming stations, build at the lego table, use the climbing wall, or play with one of the many activities we have available. Then we will sing and dance to some cool music, followed by a whole group time of games and short lessons to introduce our Bible truth for the day. When the children get to their grade relevant classes, the Bible lesson will reflect what was introduced earlier. 

Wednesdays

Every Wednesday night at OCC is small group time for kids. From worship to woodworking, we offer a wide variety of small groups for kids. Each group begins at 6:45 and runs to 8:00. We have an awesome group of small group leaders that love kids and desire to see them grow in their relationship with God and others in the group. Why not sign your child up and let them enjoy the fun and fellowship of a kids small group at Oshawa Community Church? Your child will be tugging you out the door each week, not wanting to miss a minute of his or her small group. Come and join the fun!!
